Philbrook Museum of Art (PMA), founded in 1929, comprises a 1920s villa designed in the Italian Renaissance style, a contemporary education wing, extensive formal gardens, and a downtown satellite. The PMA’s collection represents a range of eras and cultures from antiquities to the present and includes Italian masterpieces from the 14th‒18th centuries; art from Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas; one of the finest surveys of Native American art in the world; modern and contemporary art; decorative arts; and works on paper. PMA organizes innovative exhibitions based on the Museum’s collections and provides a wide range of programs for children and adults.
Bow Bridge was engaged to promote the opening of the Philbrook Downtown, designed by Gluckman Mayner Architects, the PMA’s new satellite location in Tulsa’s vibrant Brady Arts District. We organized a press trip to Tulsa, positioning Tulsa an emergent arts destination, and promoted the PMA to media nationally and internationally.
